Stop Labor's Dirty New Coal Project

Take Action

The Age reported that Richard Wynne has used special ministerial powers, powers he has used only a handful of times, to fast-track a Victorian coal project.

The controversial project would process our brown coal reserves so that they can be exported to Japan.

Add your name to say no to all new coal projects in Victoria.

Why is this important?

The Victorian Labor Party loves coal.

This government is good at spin. Labor pretend to play nice on climate in the city, but hug coal in the Latrobe Valley.

They’ve also extended the life of Yallourn and Loy Yang, two of Australia’s dirtiest coal-fired power stations.

But too many people don’t know that. They see the pretty pictures about solar panels and don’t realise that the Andrews government is entrenching coal in this state.

This seat is on a knife-edge -- there were only 700 votes in it last time, and I’m betting that there are at least 700 people in Richmond that don’t want hundreds of millions of dollars of their taxpayer dollars spent on coal.

Add your voice to our campaign to send a message to Labor that we want no new coal projects in Victoria.
