Bring Them Here

Take Action

The camps on Nauru and Manus Island are hell-holes. The conditions in these camps are appalling and they are pushing already vulnerable people to self-harm.

The Greens want to see everyone off Nauru and resettled here, in Melbourne.

Will you join our campaign to close the camps and resettle refugees in Melbourne?

Why is this important?

Labor put kids on Nauru but pressure from the Greens MP Adam Bandt, the Federal crossbench and Kerryn Phelps, the likely future member for Wentworth has forced Labor and the Coalition to find a way to get them off. But we can get a better deal.

Kids off Nauru is an important step forward. But it isn't enough. Nothing short of ending our disastrous and inhumane offshore processing policy is goo enough.

The Greens want to see everyone off Nauru and resettled here, in Melbourne. The electorate of Richmond has a proud history of welcoming refugees, and if I am elected this November I will be a powerful voice in Parliament demanding Daniel Andrews pressure his Federal colleagues to bring them here.
