Women’s Health in the North executive director Kathleen Maltzahn said MPs should negotiate on the bill but not allow political trade-offs to influence it.
“The danger is that it becomes an internal, inwardly looking discussion that becomes about ‘I’ll trade off this to get that’ and the two key things are, the test is women’s lives and the second test is the community’s expectations,” Ms Maltzahn said.
